Le Pigonnet - Aix en Provence, France

Hotel Le Pigonnet brought the vibrance of the French people and the breathtaking intentionality of her architecture and landscaping together. Our last stop in France was Aix en Provence, a vibrant city with shopping, dining, and beautiful views. The hills reminded me of the Northwest back home.

A historic experience

The establishment has been around since 1924… can you believe it? Almost 100 years. It’s the perfect place to read and brunch in the garden, relax, and experience fine dining. Even when we had the chance to dine elsewhere, we chose to have supper at the hotel’s stunning restaurant! It’s chic and simple, but divine nonetheless.

Each of the 48 rooms is unique and individually decorated with antique furniture, authentic artwork, and carefully selected fabrics. It’s exquisite! Outside our window, was a terrace of 100-year-old chestnut trees.

This was the BEST “last stop” before jetting back up to Paris for our flight out.
