Kimpton Hotel Monaco - Salt Lake City
Staying at a Kimpton Hotel is always luxurious. Every Hotel Monaco is different and unique to the city it’s in. Smack dab in the center of Salt Lake City’s downtown, you’ve got views, walkable bars and restaurants, and you’re steps from the Capitol and Eccles Theater. This is a 4-star hotel that features spectacular amenities (you know, designer toiletries, flat screen tvs, massages, body treatments, weddings, the list goes on).
Hosting this styled shoot meant that we were able to really use the stunning furniture to make amazing photographs. The chaise lounge does not disappoint!
My experience in Salt Lake City
Salt Lake City seems to be the perfect size. There was barely any traffic, but you could get downtown and wander around without too much hustle and bustle. I did notice that the city wasn’t as alive on a Monday as Portland, but Covid has definitely changed things everywhere- so I’m not sure how it typically is.
In Utah, you’re pretty close to everything adventurous. I knew that I HAD to go to the Salt Flats (even though it added 3 hours of driving to my over all trip) and I’m so glad that I did.
I was able to experience parts of the country I’ve seen on Social Media for years and always dreamed of going to. Lots of hipsters come to SLC and know I know why! It’s a very cool town. I’d recommend a stop! Hotel Monaco is close to restaurants (sushi, fish market, cocktail bars, etc.) as well.
