collins quarter | Savannah

hidden in plain sight, collins quarter is sneaky good, and uniquely low key fine dining!
By the time that we left collins quarter, we had had the three top requirements for an excellent meal;
great food, amazing wine, and lovely company.
Here’s how it does this;
The table was set in a high end manor, but with unique twists - like candles that were spilling wax over the sides.
The staff seemed to all be “in on the mission,” they all cared deeply about each other and the customer (and it showed).
The food was all curated and honest. It was thoughtful and real.
We met the best people there to share it with.
When I fall in love with a city, it isn’t for the parks, the views, or the Spanish Moss. Eureka! You guessed it. It’s for the food. I would recommend Collins Quarter as a top pick for anyone visiting Savannah.

I will say one thing… (and its a good thing that they have my photos now **wink**) — online, Collins Quarter looks more like a cafe/brunch spot.. but they are underselling how great the dinner is. Hopefully all of these sick photos can refresh that narrative because if you are in Savannah… you’ve GOT to try their dinner menu (and brunch, okay, no hate there).
OHH, but.. THE DESSERT THO? SO GOOD.
It was hard to take photos because people were so ready to chomp on in and bite these delicacies! Love love love love.
How did it go?
Overall, I’d say that the whole experience was perfect for our group of 7. I felt like it was an elevated dinner, but not so fancy that the kids misbehaving and taking their shoes off was randomly going to throw off the vibe of the whole place. The chef came out and talked to us, which was really sweet. The whole team was extremely accommodating and kind. Highly recommend.
